The IV International Conference was composed of three days of Workshops for people working with Hands-on Inquiry Centered Systems (HOICS), these workshops were held on November 5, 6 and 9. November 7 and 8 were dedicated to the presentation of Masters Conferences.

This workshop is focused on Education Officials from Mexico and other Latin American countries. The goal of the workshop is to raise official’s awareness of what it means to make inquiry education and to inform them about the elements to develop these systems efficiently.

EuroScience Open Forum 2008 (ESOF 2008)

ESOF2008, is the most important interdisciplinary forum for presentation and debate of leading scientific trends and key science policy issues. It will be held on Barcelona from July 18 to 22. ESOF was presented for Mexico and Latin America in the Forum Universal de las Culturas de Monterrey.

Evaluation of Hands-on Inquiry Centered Systems (HOICS)
|
The assessment project developed by specialist from the InterAcademy Panel (IAP) will be analyzed, stressing the evaluation of professors training. Also other evaluation projects in Inquiry Science Teaching will be presented.
